Top special things to discover in Aruba



Snorkeling – It is a wonderful action to do on the island. The shores are full of brightly colored coral, octopus, clown fish, and even the angel fish. Almost hotels provide for their customers free use of snorkeling equipment.

Scuba diving – There are some good dive places such as the Antilles wreck and sunken airplanes nearby Renaissance Island. You’ll see a lot more coral and fish than you snorkel. Maybe, you will spend about 160 AWG on a two tank dive.

Kayaking – The best way to explore Aruba’s coast is kayaking. Many hotels are free for their visitors in using kayaks. If not, you must rent with price about 45 AWG for an hour. It will take your time, because of a lot of little attractive coves to explore along the coastline!
Sailing – beside of snorkeling and diving, sailing is also the most attractive activity here. For the experience, it is best to take a sunset cruise on board or hire a skipper and go with a group of friends.

Golf – If you want an expensive holiday, it is best to go to resorts and golfing go hand in hand. The cost is up to 180-285 AWG to join in the island’s Championship Course, Tierra Del Sol. Another choice is a round of 9 holes at the Aruba Golf Club with just 54 AWG.

Oranjestad – being Aruba’s capital city is built in typical Dutch architecture style with many pastel colored buildings, It is good for shopping with stalls and small groceries and fish is provided in the harbor. The famous couple of museums in the city store the history of the island, but they are smaller destination.

Jeep tours – One of the most ideal ways to discover this island is by booking a 4×4 tour that allows you to view parts of Aruba lying off the beaten track, including the North coast. However, you should rent your own jeep, it is a better and cheaper way to discover this island, – let your trip start!

The Collapsed Natural Bridge – It is a bridge with 100 feet in width and 25 feet in height, the coral had carved into this bridge naturally. But it collapsed in 2005. A very famous tourist, this is a great viewpoint to look. Despite the collapse of the best attraction, there are so many other bridges where many visitors stop for a photo-op.

Peace Labyrinth – Located on top of a bluff that sees the Caribbean Sea is the Peace Labyrinth, a place for silent and peace.
