Bulgaria is one of my favorite countries in the
world. I went without any expectations about something special and was impressed
by the country’s cost, generous locals, long history, nice scenery, beautiful
beaches, and nightlife. Everything in this country was a victory. This travel

Top Things to See in Bulgaria
Walk in Rusenski Lom Nature Park and Ivanovo – This
park has a nice walking roads and also has a Rock Monastery with ancient pictures,
as well as a old village to visit.
Go through the Marvelous Bridges – The Marvelous
Bridges are made from natural marble.The two bridges can be gone on secure
trails, and two tourist tents
are located nearby. The place can be entered by an
asphalt road and it is long about 20 miles from the Chepelare closest town.
View Melnik and the Rozhen Monastery – The Rozhen
monastery is a Bulgarian monastery nearby, since 1259, with many intact pictures
to view. Nearby, you can see a walking area with sandstone ‘pyramids’ (formed
from erosion). The region is also famous for wine that was interested by
Winston Churchill.
Back in time in Old Plovdiv – This is a small and
well-preserved location where you can take walks to see different historical
ages, see old buildings adapted to the modern life, and feel the spirit of this
town has from Bulgarian Revival Period.
Take a rest in a Roman spa – This is a well-preserved
old place, locate in the contemporary city of Varna. The Roman spa is the
biggest historical construction explored in Bulgaria to now.
Visit the Museum of Socialist Art – This is a new one
which has the art from the socialist period (1944-1989). A large outdoor
sculpture park has almost things from the giant statue of Lenin that once located
in the city center, to the red star is on the top of socialist party
headquarters.
Go through Slaveikov Square, you can see a book
market, and a special museum for Petko and Pencho Slaveikov, they are the most
famous poets in Bulgaria.
Walk the Balkan Mountains – This mountain is named follow
the Balkan Peninsula. It goes all along the country and is popular for fans of
the long-distance walking trips. One of the famous European Long Distance is Routes
(E3. One of the three national parks in Bulgaria, It is the Central Balkan
National Park.
